Bob Burr joined FreshMinistries in the spring of 2004 to assist the Center for Urban Initiatives with the Eastside Housing initiative and Northeast Florida Hospitality Institute. Bob brings over 29 years of management experience to FreshMinistries with extensive experience in all areas of the hospitality industry, including resort management and ownership of his own restaurant. Bob was Chef at numerous locations, including R.J. Reynolds World Headquarter Building, Harrah’s Club in Reno, Nevada and several private County Clubs.

He has also served as part of the management staff of private Country Clubs, restaurants and corporate dining facilities, as Director of Food Operations for Jefferson Pilot Life Insurance Company in Greensboro, N.C., the AAA World Headquarters in Heathrow, FL and Blue Cross/ Blue Shield of Florida in Jacksonville, FL, as well as Traffic Coordinator for International Telecom Company in Dallax, TX.

Bob serves on the board of People’s First Community Bank, Rebuilding Northeast Florida and is a member of the National Restaurant Association.
