Donna Tuten graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is married to Jeryl E. Tuten, who is the comptroller for Worldwide. Donna entered the insurance industry as one of the first female casualty claims adjusters before retiring to become a full-time mom to her son and daughter. During her retirement, she became a freelance writer and her work was published in several different venues.

She joined Piedmont Airlines as a customer service representative at their hub in Baltimore, which was the beginning of her career in travel. She later became president and chairman of the board of The Atlanta Travelers, a full-service travel agency in Roswell, Georgia. Donna also was the manager of on-site locations for Maritz Travel in Chicago and manager of corporate accounts for Carlson Travel in Jacksonville.

Donna came to Worldwide in 1995 as manager and has guided the growth of the ministry from arranging five pilgrimages in 1995 to 50 or more per year currently. In 2001, Donna and Jeryl took over the management of Worldwide, as it was launched from FreshMinistries as an independent entity.
