Angelia Redding
Formerly the Human Resources Manager at the Omni Jacksonville Hotel, Angelia Redding came to Beaver Street Enterprise Center in November as our new Client Services Coordinator. Chosen HR Manager of the Year in 2005, Redding worked her way up the ladder during her 14 years of employment with the Omni, learning nearly every aspect of customer service.
“Everything I’ve done to date has prepared me for my new role at Beaver Street Enterprise Center,” said Redding. “My niche and my passion is to help people achieve their goals.”
In her capacity as HR Manager with the Omni, Redding worked closely with the Jacksonville Hospitality Institute, providing mock job interviews for classes and internships at the hotel for individual students. “I was very impressed with the caliber of graduates coming out of the hospitality institute,” she said. “I’ve seen real transformations happening here and it inspired me.” Redding says her goal as Beaver Street’s new Client Services Coordinator is to help tenants meet and exceed the business basics consistently and in a timely manner.
“We’re thrilled to have Angelia on board at Beaver Street Enterprise Center,” said Board Member Joan Bonnette, Chairman of the Marketing Committee. “Angelia’s vast knowledge of business and management are an asset to both the daily operation of Beaver Street and to the marketing committee’s planning meetings for 2008. Her upbeat attitude and positive energy are refreshing!”
