New Director of External Relations Joins FreshMinistries Staff

Shelly Marino, past Vice President of External Affairs for the Jacksonville Super Bowl Host Committee has joined the staff of FreshMinistries as Director of External Relations. Marino brings with her a wealth of experience gathered during key posts in government, private industry and the Jacksonville Super Bowl.

Prior to joining FreshMinistries Marino served as Vice President of External Affairs for the Jacksonville Super Bowl Host Committee, Director of External Affairs and Communications for the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission (JEDC) Membership and Marketing Director for The Lodge and Beach Club at Ponte Vedra Beach and numerous years as an elementary school teacher for the New York Board of Education and the Overseas School of London.

As a New York native, Marino graduated from Hunter College in New York, earning a B.S. degree in Engish history.

Marino’s served on the Board of Directors for FreshMinistries, Hospice Northeast and the I.M. Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless.
