A native of Jacksonville, Shannon graduated from Terry Parker High School. She attended Florida Community College of Jacksonville, Valencia Community College and is a graduate of Florida College of Medical and Dental Careers.

Shannon has worked with multiple doctor’s offices, daycare centers and churches to set up their financial systems to be able to receive city, state and federally-funded programs. Wanting to reach out to the deaf community, Shannon learned American Sign Language and volunteered in several areas of the deaf community as an interpreter. Noticing an initial lack of options, Shannon helped initiate one of the first physical education classes for home-schooled children in her area.

Since then she worked in accounting and auditing and has come to Fresh Ministries as Assistant to the Comptroller.
