Rev. Ron Owen accepts call to church in Fernandina

The Reverend Ron Owen has accepted a call to St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Fernandina where he will serve at the Associate Rector. Ron came to FreshMinistries in the summer of 2008 to serve as the Director of Domestic Operations. Ron brought with him thirty years of experience as a trial lawyer, theological training at the Virginia Theological Seminary, and outreach experience at the National Cathedral. Needless to say, he did a wonderful job at FreshMinistries and was loved by all.

While we were sad to see him go, however, we are thrilled for the people at St. Peter's. Fr. Ron has a heart for the Church and all of God's people. Those blessed in this world as well as those marginalized will be well "fed".

Congratulations to Ron, his wonderful wife Janet and all the people of Fernandina!
