Education is key to success

FreshMinistries believes wholeheartedly that a solid educational foundation is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty, reducing crime by creating security and stability in the community through homeownership and job opportunities, and through improved self-esteem promoted by positive mentoring and successful role models for core-city children.

Our goal is to dramatically improve the high school graduation rate of our core-city schools, offer free job training and job placement assistance to the unemployed and underemployed citizens who complete our Jacksonville Hospitality Institute training classes, professional business mentoring for the mostly minority owned businesses in our business incubator, Beaver Street Enterprise Center, and encourage parental involvement through school-choice liaisons located at our East Jacksonville Neighborhood Resource Center.
