Safety and Security

FreshMinistries has numerous initiatives that interlock and build on one another with the goal of improving the safety and security of our core-city community. These initiatives address environmental justice and health concerns created by housing projects constructed on old hazardous waste disposal sites, improving security, community pride and cleanliness through the creation and funding of the East Jacksonville Neighborhood Alliance Association, promoting home ownership for low-income working citizens by constructing affordable housing and offering a special 2-to-1 matched savings program, Individual Development Accounts, for qualified working individuals who complete financial literacy education classes.
